International No-Dig Auckland has confirmed Water New Zealand as an official Industry Partner for the 2026 event, strengthening ties between the trenchless technology sector and the country’s broader water industry.
Water New Zealand is the country’s leading industry body for the water sector, representing utilities, councils, consultants and suppliers working across drinking water, wastewater and stormwater. The organisation plays a central role in advocating for sustainable water management, supporting regulatory reform and lifting industry capability through training, events and technical guidance.
As New Zealand continues to invest in water resilience and renewal, the collaboration is set to amplify industry engagement and knowledge sharing across both communities.
“This partnership with International No Dig is important for Water New Zealand and our members because it brings global expertise and practical innovation directly into the Aotearoa New Zealand context,” Water New Zealand CEO Gillian Blythe said.
“No dig technology plays a critical role in how we renew and maintain essential infrastructure, and this collaboration helps ensure our sector has access to the latest thinking, tools and real world case studies.”
Blythe says that the event will help the sector better understand and adopt infrastructure solutions that are more efficient, less disruptive and better for communities and the environment.
“Events like International No Dig allow practitioners, asset owners and suppliers to share lessons learned and explore how innovative approaches can be applied across different regions and projects,” she said.
“These forums create space for meaningful conversations, knowledge sharing and collaboration; all of which are essential if we’re going to meet the growing challenges facing water infrastructure in Aotearoa New Zealand.”
Prime Creative Media Head of Marketing – Events Molly Hancock said the partnership reflects a natural alignment between the two organisations.
“Water New Zealand plays a critical role in shaping the future of water infrastructure across the country. Their leadership, advocacy and technical expertise make them an invaluable voice in the industry, and we’re proud to have them on board as an Industry Partner,” Hancock said.
“With increasing pressure on underground networks, the need for smarter, less disruptive construction methods has never been greater. Trenchless technology sits right at the centre of that conversation, and working alongside Water New Zealand allows us to connect those ideas with the people driving real change.”
International No-Dig Auckland will take place at the New Zealand International Convention Centre from 28–29 October 2026, bringing together contractors, engineers, asset owners and technology providers from across the trenchless and underground infrastructure sectors.
